12: Own Your Mistakes
Just accept right now you are going to make mistakes. It happens. You will be inundated with information, in a new job, perhaps in a new city and making new relationships. It's a time of great change in your life. When you make a mistake, don't brush it off. You should reflect on it and live with it a bit. It should hurt. You need to forgive yourself, but don't forget.
Own it. Tell whoever found it that you recognize it and will learn from it. Move on, but not too quickly—you need to learn the lesson.
