Internalize the Losses, But Don't Dwell on Them

We talked about this previously but want to reiterate. You are going to make mistakes. Sometimes, you'll make no mistakes but still fail your mission. Maybe the law just doesn't line up with what you are trying to do. Maybe you get surprised with a verdict that even in hindsight you wouldn't have strategized differently. No lawyer wins every time. It's okay. You aren't special.

What is important is how you bounce back with resiliency, not gloom. Be thoughtful about where you could improve or realize that luck plays into a lot of things. But then move on, keep your head up, and don't dwell.
