Introduction
The focus of this chapter is on how to write coursework essays, but most of the discussion is also relevant to examination essays. The only real differences (apart from length) between a coursework essay and one written under examination conditions are that you have time to research the coursework questions, while in the case of examinations your revision will be the equivalent of research and you can cite much less detailed authority.
