Mindset

Speaking of being aggressive, you must have a success mindset when looking for a job. Your mindset must be that you will not fail. “Do. Or do not. There is no try.” (Thanks Yoda.) This may sound like BS, but it's not. Employers will get the vibe emanating whether you have this mindset or not. It's totally okay to be insecure and fake it a bit, but try as best as you can to convince yourself as well. Jason learned this the hard way when trying to raise his first fund as a venture capitalist. He failed to raise money when he first tried. He succeeded when his mindset changed to that being the only outcome.
