Career Placement Services

Each law school has its own center. Some are good. Some are bad. Some are overwhelmed. All of them struggle with which students to help the most and which to put on the back burner.

Don't for a second think that everyone is treated equally. This doesn't make them bad people, rather it makes them human.

Use this to your advantage. Network into career service before you need them and it will feel less transactional to them. Get to know them early in your career, ask them for advice and maybe buy them some coffee or pastries one morning. That's the thing with career placement: no one wants to talk to them until they need something. Imagine being on the other end of the table and treat them how you'd want to be treated.

All right, let's assume you got the job. Next up, let's talk about everyone's favorite subject: the bar exam.
