The Main Characteristics of Urban Law

The three systems of secular law that were considered earlier -- feudal, manorial, and mercantile law -were analyzed under the headings of objectivity, universality, reciprocity, participatory adjudication, integration, and growth. This system of law will be analyzed in terms of its communitarian character, its secular character, its constitutional character, its capacity for growth, and its integrity as a system.
