Standard abbreviations of authors in Latin literature etc. can be found in the Oxford Classical Dictionary. Translations from the Digest are generally taken from the translation, under the general editorship of Alan Watson, of the Mommsen- Krueger edition (University of Pennsylvania Press, 1985; revised edition, 1998).
